Thomas McGee, Vice President of Client Services
Graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors in Marketing. During his time at Old Dominion he worked in several Sales/Marketing positions and part time in a local aquarium showing sharks to the public. Both of these jobs were an excellent introduction into the world of customer service. After graduating from Old Dominion, Thomas began working as a prospect research assistant for Northwestern Memorial Foundation. While at Northwestern, he worked on every aspect of prospect research, and developed a clean understanding of proper research techniques. He also, developed several databases, which were used by the foundation and hospital to implement an automated grateful patient program based on Target America data and Raisers Edge data. After three years with NMF he joined Target America. This was a great opportunity to work directly with company founder, Jim McGee, who also happens to be his father. Through this relationship Thomas has a unique dedication and understanding of Target America. After working on new business and focusing on Healthcare clients for 1 year, he moved into the role of director of client services for Target America. In this role he works directly with all Target America clients from their initial training, to monthly user sessions, to handling any issues they may encounter as a client. He has found this position to be great fit for his personality, and is extremely motivated to help organizations get the most out of the Target America Program, and constantly looking for new ways to help Target America clients raise more money.
